Turn left onto Plank Road. After about a mile, you will find Heckrodt Wetland Reserve on your right at 1305 Plank Rd. There is free parking available on-site.

For those using public transportation, the Valley Transit system operates bus routes in the area. You can take Route 10 from Appleton or Oshkosh to Menasha. Get off at the stop nearest to Main Street. From there, it's about a 20-minute walk to Heckrodt Wetland Reserve: head west on Main Street, then turn left onto Plank Road. The reserve will be on your right at 1305 Plank Rd. Note that the bus fare is approximately $2.00 each way.

If you prefer to cycle, there are bike paths available in Menasha. Start from the downtown area and head towards the Fox River. Once on the Fox River Trail, follow it north until it intersects with Plank Road. Turn left onto Plank Road and continue until you reach the reserve.
