Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from Baraboo, WI. Head north on US-12 for about 2 miles. Turn left onto County Rd W and follow it for approximately 4 miles, passing through the scenic countryside. Continue straight to stay on County Rd W, which will lead you to Devil's Doorway Rock Formation, located within the Devil's Lake State Park. There is a parking lot available near the trailhead. Please note that a daily vehicle admission fee is required to enter the park, which is $11 for Wisconsin residents and $16 for non-residents.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a bus to Baraboo from nearby cities like Madison or Wisconsin Dells. Once in Baraboo, you may need to use a rideshare service or taxi to reach the parking area of Devil's Lake State Park, as public transport options directly to the park are limited. Make sure to check local schedules and availability in advance. Remember, you will still need to pay the daily vehicle admission fee at the park entrance.

  After parking at the Devil's Lake State Park parking lot, you will need to hike approximately 1 mile to reach the Devil's Doorway Rock Formation.
