  If you're traveling by car, head to the nearest major city, which is Madison, WI. From Madison, get onto US-12 W. Follow US-12 W for about 40 miles until you reach the town of Baraboo. Take the exit for WI-136 N toward Devil's Lake State Park. Follow the signs towards S5975 Park Rd, Baraboo, WI 53913. The park entrance will be on your right. There is a parking fee of $11 for a daily vehicle admission.

  For those using public transportation, take a Greyhound or Badger Bus from Madison, WI to Baraboo. The trip typically takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Baraboo, you will need to call a local taxi service or rideshare (like Uber or Lyft) to take you to Devil's Lake State Park, which is approximately 10 miles from the bus station. Expect to pay around $20-$30 for the taxi ride.

  Walking to Devil's Lake State Park is only recommended if you're staying close by in Baraboo. From the city, take the pedestrian access routes that connect to the Ice Age Trail.
