    If you are starting from the Kenosha Public Museum, exit the museum and head south on 55th Street towards 3rd Avenue. Turn left onto 3rd Avenue and walk straight for about 0.5 miles. The Third Avenue Historic District will be on your left at 6501 3rd Ave.

    From Kenosha's downtown area, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Kenosha Area Transit (KAT) system. Take bus route 4 towards the Southport Park & Ride. Get off at the 60th Street & 3rd Avenue stop. From there, walk north on 3rd Avenue for about a quarter of a mile, and you will arrive at the Third Avenue Historic District located at 6501 3rd Ave.
