From any location in the Lake Superior Lowland, find your way to Highway 2, which is the main east-west route through the area. If you are coming from the east, take Highway 2 west toward Ashland. If coming from the west, head east on Highway 2. As you approach Bayfield, look for Highway 13 South. Take the exit for Highway 13 South toward Bayfield. Continue on Highway 13 until you reach Bayfield. Once in Bayfield, turn onto Washington Ave, and you will find Apostle Islands National Lakeshore at 415 Washington Ave, Bayfield, WI 54814. Parking is available nearby, but there may be parking fees depending on the season.
