If you are driving, start from the center of La Pointe on Madeline Island. Head south on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Fort Road. Turn left onto Fort Road, and continue for approximately 1 mile. Miijim will be on your left at 858 Fort Rd. There is parking available on-site.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, rent a bike in La Pointe. Start at the bike rental location and head south on Main Street. Turn left on Fort Road and ride for about 1 mile. Miijim will be on your left at 858 Fort Rd. Be cautious of traffic and enjoy the scenic views along the way!
Walking
If you're walking from La Pointe, begin at the town center and walk south on Main Street. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto Fort Road. Continue on Fort Road for about 1 mile, and you will find Miijim on the left at 858 Fort Rd. The walk takes approximately 30-40 minutes, and the scenery is quite enjoyable.
Public Transportation
Currently, Madeline Island does not have a formal public transportation system. However, you can check with local taxi services or shuttle services that may operate during the tourist season. If available, request a ride to 858 Fort Rd, La Pointe, WI 54850, where Miijim is located. Be sure to confirm the fare beforehand.
