If you are starting from the Wisconsin State Capitol located at 2 E Main St, Madison, WI 53703, exit the building and head south towards W Wilson St. Turn right onto W Wilson St and continue until you reach S Carroll St. Turn left onto S Carroll St. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with W Washington Ave. Cross W Washington Ave and continue on S Carroll St. The Peck Cabin marker will be located just ahead on your right, near the intersection of S Carroll St and W Mifflin St.

From the Wisconsin State Capitol, walk to the nearest bus stop at the corner of E Wilson St and S Carroll St. Board the Metro Transit Bus Route 5 (South Transfer Point) or Route 6 (East Transfer Point). Ride for about 5 stops and get off at the 'University Ave & Park St' stop. Transfer to Bus Route 80 (East Towne) and ride for 2 stops, getting off at 'Carroll St & W Mifflin St'. Walk a short distance to the intersection of S Carroll St and W Mifflin St, where you will find the Peck Cabin historic marker.
