Getting There

• Walking

  If you are on the main campus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, head towards State Street. Depending on your starting point, you might find the easiest route is to follow the paths towards the Memorial Union. Once you reach the Union, continue walking east along State Street. The Wisconsin Building is located at 100 State St, which is a straightforward walk of about 10-15 minutes. Look for the large brick building on your left as you approach the intersection with N. Park St.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the Blue Bikes stations located on campus. Once you have a bike, head toward State Street. Follow State Street eastbound until you reach the Wisconsin Building at 100 State St. This route should take around 5-10 minutes depending on your speed. Be sure to abide by local traffic rules while biking.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  If you are near a bus stop on campus, check for the Madison Metro Transit buses that service the university area. You can take any bus that heads towards State Street. Alight at the stop closest to State St and N. Park St. From there, it is a short walk of about 2-3 minutes to the Wisconsin Building located at 100 State St. Bus fares are usually around $2.00, so be prepared with exact change or a bus pass.
