In Washburn, take a left onto County Hwy G. Follow County Hwy G for about 10 miles until you reach the ferry terminal at Bayfield. Here, you will need to take the ferry to Madeline Island. The ferry operates regularly, but check the schedule for specific times. Once you arrive on Madeline Island, follow Big Bay Road for about 5 miles.
