Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Oshkosh Public Library located at 106 Washington Ave, head north on Washington Ave toward Pearl Ave. After about three blocks, take a left onto Main St. Continue walking on Main St for approximately 0.5 miles. The Sun Dial will be on your left at 315 N Main St, right next to the intersection with W 4th Ave.

    From the Menominee Park area, exit the park and head east on Witzel Ave. Walk for about 0.6 miles until you reach N Main St. Turn right onto N Main St and walk south for approximately 0.8 miles. The Sun Dial will be located on your right at 315 N Main St.

  • Biking

    If you are biking from the UW Oshkosh campus, start by heading east on Algoma Blvd toward the Fox River. Once you reach the river, follow the bike path north along the riverfront. When you reach the intersection at W 9th Ave, turn left and continue until you reach Main St. Turn right onto Main St and bike south for about 0.5 miles. The Sun Dial will be on your right at 315 N Main St.

    If you are near the Oshkosh Transit Center, take the Route 10 bus heading north. Get off at the Main & 4th stop. From there, walk south on Main St for about two blocks. The Sun Dial will be at 315 N Main St, just past the intersection with W 4th Ave.
