If you are in downtown Sheboygan, start at the intersection of N 8th St and New York Ave. Head south on N 8th St toward Erie Ave for about 0.5 miles until you reach the shores of Lake Michigan. Continue straight as N 8th St turns into S 8th St. Once at the lakefront, follow the path along the shoreline heading east. You will soon see the Historical Marker for the Capsized Vessel / The Remains of a Massive Lumber Schooner located at the beach area near the water.

From the Sheboygan bike path starting point at the intersection of S 8th St and Indiana Ave, head south on S 8th St. After a short ride, take a left onto the bike path that runs parallel to the lakefront.
