Walking
If you are at the Wausau City Square, start walking north on 3rd Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Thomas Street. Turn right onto Thomas Street and walk for about 0.3 miles. You will come to a fork; stay to the left to continue on Thomas Street. After another 0.2 miles, look for Sylvan Street on your left. Turn left onto Sylvan Street, and you will find Sylvan Hill Park at 1329 Sylvan St, approximately 0.1 miles down the road on your left.
Public Transportation
From the Wausau Transit Center, take the bus route that heads towards the east side of Wausau. You may need to transfer at the nearest stop to Thomas Street. Get off at the stop near Thomas Street and Sylvan Street. From there, walk south on Thomas Street for about 0.2 miles until you reach Sylvan Street. Turn left onto Sylvan Street, and the park will be on your left at 1329 Sylvan St.
Biking
If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Wausau City Square and head north on 3rd Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles and then take a right onto Thomas Street. After about 0.3 miles, keep left at the fork to stay on Thomas Street. After another 0.2 miles, turn left onto Sylvan Street. The park will be on your left at 1329 Sylvan St, less than a mile from your starting point.
