If you're traveling by car, start by heading east on US-30 E from the center of Laramie. After about 22 miles, take the exit for WY-130 W. Continue on WY-130 W for approximately 23 miles until you see the signs for the Medicine Bow National Forest. You'll want to turn right onto Forest Road 317 (also known as the Medicine Bow Peak Trailhead). Follow this road for about 3 miles to reach the Medicine Bow Peak Trailhead parking area. There is no fee for parking here.
