• Car

  If you are driving from a location within 50 kilometers of Hot Springs State Park, head towards Thermopolis, WY. Follow the signs leading to US-20 S. If you are coming from the north, for example from Meeteetse, take WY-120 S until you reach US-20 S. Continue on US-20 S until you reach the junction with Park St in Thermopolis. Turn left onto Park St, and you will find Hot Springs State Park at 220 Park St, Thermopolis, WY 82443. Parking is available on-site, and no entrance fee is required for the park.

• Public Transportation

  For those relying on public transportation, the closest bus service is provided by the Big Horn County Public Transportation service, which operates in the region. Check their schedule for the nearest stop to your location, then take a bus heading towards Thermopolis. Once you arrive in Thermopolis, you can walk to Hot Springs State Park, which is approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) from the bus stop located in the town center. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance to plan your trip effectively, as service may be limited.

  If you're feeling adventurous, consider biking to Hot Springs State Park. There are bike-friendly roads leading into Thermopolis. Once you arrive, Park St provides direct access to the park. Make sure to wear a helmet and bring water, as the ride can be strenuous, especially in warm weather.
