    Getting There

    Car

    If you're driving, head towards the northeast entrance of Yellowstone National Park. From Cody, WY, take US-14 W and follow it for about 50 miles until you reach the junction with US-16. Turn left onto US-16, which will take you into Yellowstone National Park. Continue on the NE Entrance Rd for approximately 20 miles until you arrive at Lamar Valley. Ensure you have a valid park pass as there is an entrance fee of $35 per vehicle valid for 7 days.

    Public Transportation

    Public transportation options are limited in this remote area. However, you can take a shuttle service from Jackson, WY or Cody, WY to Yellowstone National Park. Once at the park, you can use the shuttle system within the park to reach Lamar Valley. Be sure to check the shuttle schedules in advance as they can vary by season. Note that the shuttle services may incur costs ranging from $40 to $100 depending on your departure point and the time of year.

    Bicycle
