Getting There

Walking
From the center of Cody, head north on Sheridan Avenue (the main street). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 12th Street. Turn left onto 12th Street and walk until you reach the intersection with North Fork Highway (N Fork Hwy). Turn right onto North Fork Highway. Follow this road for approximately 6 miles, and you will find the Buffalo Bill Scenic Byway on your right. Look for the scenic pull-off areas to enjoy the views.

Biking
If you have a bike, start at the Cody Visitor Center located at 1131 12th Street. Head east on 12th Street until you reach the intersection with Sheridan Avenue, then turn left. Continue on Sheridan Avenue until the road turns into North Fork Highway (N Fork Hwy). Follow North Fork Highway for about 6 miles. You can stop at various scenic overlooks along the way, which are well-marked.
