Walking
Start at the Laramie Public Library located at 1020 E. Garfield St. Head east on Garfield St. until you reach S. 3rd St. Turn right on S. 3rd St. and continue south until you arrive at E. Grand Ave. Turn left onto E. Grand Ave. and walk east until you reach N. 9th St. Turn right onto N. 9th St. and continue until you reach WY-230. At this point, you will see signs for the Old Overland Trail marker a short distance ahead. Keep an eye out for the marker on your left.

Bicycling
Begin your journey at the University of Wyoming campus. Exit the campus heading east on E. University Ave. Continue straight until you reach S. 3rd St., then turn left. Follow S. 3rd St. south until you get to E. Grand Ave. Turn right on E. Grand Ave. and cycle east until you hit N. 9th St. Turn right on N. 9th St., and you’ll reach WY-230. The Old Overland Trail marker will be along this road to your left.
