From downtown Laramie, walk to the nearest bus stop that services the area. You can catch a bus heading towards Wheatland. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the exact times. After approximately an hour and a half, get off at the Wheatland bus station. From there, it is a 15-minute walk to the Laramie Peak Museum located at 1601 16th St. Head east on Main St, then turn left on 16th St. Continue walking straight until you reach the museum on your right.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Laramie. Start your journey from downtown Laramie heading east on E Grand Ave. Continue to follow E Grand Ave until you reach US-87. Turn right onto US-87 and cycle north towards Wheatland. The total cycling distance is about 35 miles, which may take around 2.5 to 3 hours depending on your cycling speed. Upon reaching Wheatland, navigate to 16th St and make your way to the museum at 1601 16th St.
