Car
If you are traveling by car from the city of Wheatland, head west on US-26 W towards Guernsey. Continue on US-26 W for about 60 miles until you reach the junction with WY-220. Take the exit onto WY-220 N towards Casper. After approximately 30 miles, merge onto I-25 N. Follow I-25 N for about 45 miles until you reach the exit for US-87 N towards Buffalo. Continue on US-87 N for about 40 miles, then take WY-789 N towards Thermopolis. After about 20 miles, take WY-20 W to reach Cody. Once in Cody, follow the signs for 14/16 E towards Yellowstone. Continue onto 14 E, then take a left onto Demaris Dr. Old Trail Town will be on your right at 1831 Demaris Dr, Cody, WY 82414.
Public Transportation
For those utilizing public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus from Laramie to Cody. Once you arrive at the Cody bus station, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to Old Trail Town, as public transportation options are limited in Cody. The distance from the bus station to Old Trail Town is approximately 3 miles. Taxi fares can range from $10 to $15 depending on the time and traffic conditions.
Bicycle
If you are feeling adventurous and prefer to ride a bicycle, you can take the scenic route. Start in Cody and head east on 14 E. Follow the bike paths available, which will offer beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. The ride is approximately 3 miles and will take about 15-20 minutes depending on your cycling speed. Start at the intersection of 12th St and Sheridan Ave, head east on 14 E for about 1.5 miles, then turn left onto Demaris Dr. Continue walking for about half a mile until you reach Old Trail Town.
