Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by heading to the nearest major road in Sublette County. If you're in Pinedale, take US-191 N towards Daniel. Continue on US-191 N until you reach the intersection with US-26 E. Merge onto US-26 E and continue until you reach the town of Riverton. From Riverton, take US-120 N to Cody. Once in Cody, follow the signs for US-14 E. Continue on US-14 E until you reach Buffalo Bill Dam & Visitor Center at 4808 N Fork Hwy, Cody, WY 82414. The visitor center is approximately 2 miles west of downtown Cody. Parking is available on-site, and there is no fee for parking.

  For those relying on public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus or a local shuttle service from Pinedale or Jackson to Cody. Once in Cody, you should use a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to reach Buffalo Bill Dam & Visitor Center.
