Car
If you're coming from Rock Springs, head west on US-191 N for approximately 5 miles. Turn left onto W Flaming Gorge Way and continue for about 3 miles. Merge onto I-80 E and follow the highway for about 12 miles. Take exit 121 for US-189 S toward Kemmerer. Continue on US-189 S for about 17 miles, then turn right onto WY-28 W. After about 10 miles, turn left onto a dirt road (coordinates: 41.3880358, -108.9413504) leading directly to Mainliner Rock. Please note that the last stretch of the road is unpaved and may require a high-clearance vehicle.
Public Transportation and Walking
If you are using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Rock Springs to Kemmerer. Once you arrive in Kemmerer, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Mainliner Rock, as public transport does not go directly there. The distance from Kemmerer to Mainliner Rock is about 20 miles, so taxi fares may range from $30 to $50 depending on the service used. Be sure to confirm with the driver that they are familiar with the location, as it is somewhat remote.
