If you're driving from the town of Newcastle, head east on US-16 E for approximately 45 miles. Continue onto I-90 E and follow the signs for Cheyenne. Take exit 362 for US-287 S toward Laramie. Merge onto US-287 S and continue for about 35 miles. Then, turn left onto Granite Springs Rd. Curt Gowdy State Park will be on your right after about 2 miles. There is no entry fee for the park, but remember to check for any seasonal access restrictions.

From Gillette, take WY-59 S for about 30 miles until you reach I-90. Merge onto I-90 S toward Cheyenne. After approximately 50 miles, take exit 362 for US-287 S toward Laramie. Continue on US-287 S for about 35 miles, then turn left onto Granite Springs Rd. After about 2 miles, you will arrive at Curt Gowdy State Park. Ensure your vehicle is fueled as services may be limited near the park.
