Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Abyan. Head northwest on the main road toward the city of Sana'a. After approximately 30 kilometers, look for signs indicating 'Dar AlHajar' or 'Wadi Dhahr'. You will need to take a right turn onto a smaller road leading into Wadi Dhahr. Continue on this road for about 10 kilometers until you reach Dar AlHajar. There is parking available near the site, but be aware of the local traffic regulations.

Public Transportation
To reach Dar AlHajar via public transportation, first locate a bus or shared taxi that travels towards Sana'a. You can find these at the main bus station in Abyan. Inform the driver that you want to go to Wadi Dhahr. The fare should be around 500 YER (Yemeni Riyals). Once you arrive in Wadi Dhahr, you will need to take a local taxi to reach the entrance of Dar AlHajar. The taxi ride may cost you around 200 YER. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand.

If you are already in Wadi Dhahr and prefer to walk, you can easily reach Dar AlHajar on foot. From the local bus stop, it is approximately a 2 km walk to the historical site. Follow the main path leading towards the landmark, and be sure to ask locals for directions if needed. It is a scenic walk but may take around 30-40 minutes.
