Start at the heart of Sana'a, specifically in the Old City. Head southeast towards Al-Mahwit Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Al-Zubair Street. Turn left onto Al-Zubair Street and walk until you see the main market area, Souq Al-Milh. This is a vibrant place and a good spot to ask locals for directions if needed. From there, head northeast towards Al-Zakat Street. Follow Al-Zakat Street for about 15 minutes, and you will start to notice signs pointing towards حصن الزكاتين (Al-Zakatain Fortress). Continue straight until you reach the fortress, which will be on your right.

From your location in Sana'a, find the nearest bus station (many are located in the city center). Look for a bus or minibus heading towards Hababah. The fare is usually quite inexpensive. Once on the bus, inform the driver or conductor that you are going to حصن الزكاتين (Al-Zakatain Fortress) and they will let you know when to disembark. The ride should take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. After you get off, follow the signs or ask locals for guidance to the fortress which is a short walk away.
