    From the center of Al Jawf, head northeast on the main road towards Al Hazm. Continue driving for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for Al Makhwah. Turn left at the junction, and follow the road for another 20 kilometers. You will see signs directing you towards Shaqqat Umm Jawdan. As you approach the ravine, be prepared for some unpaved roads. It is advisable to use a 4x4 vehicle due to the terrain. There are no entrance fees to visit the ravine, but ensure you have enough fuel and water for your journey.

    To reach Shaqqat Umm Jawdan by public transport, start by taking a shared taxi or minibus from Al Jawf to Al Hazm. This trip will cost approximately 500 YER. Once in Al Hazm, you will need to find another shared taxi heading towards Al Makhwah. This second leg will cost around 300 YER.
