After approximately 45 km, you will reach the town of Qalansiyah. From there, continue on the unpaved road towards the Hajhir Mountains, which are about 20 km away. The road may be rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Once you reach the base of the mountains, you can park your car and explore the hiking trails.

To reach the Hajhir Mountains via public transportation, take a shared taxi from Hadibo to Qalansiyah. The fare is typically around 10,000 YER (Yemeni Rial). The journey will take about 1 hour. Once in Qalansiyah, you may need to hire a local guide or arrange for a 4x4 taxi to take you to the Hajhir Mountains, as public transportation does not go directly to the mountains. Expect to pay additional costs for this ride, which can range from 15,000 to 30,000 YER depending on your destination within the mountains.
