    From Blue Lagoon National Park, head northwest on the main road (A1) towards Lusaka. After approximately 100 km, take the exit towards Mongu on the A3 road. Continue on the A3 for about 300 km until you reach the town of Mongu. Once in Mongu, follow signs for Liuwa Plain National Park. The park is located about 120 km west of Mongu. The roads can be rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Ensure to check the vehicle's fuel level as there are limited service stations along the route.
