Getting There

Car
Starting from the Chimfunshi Wildlife Orphanage, head east on the main road that runs through the area. Continue for approximately 25 kilometers (about 30 minutes) until you reach the junction with the road leading to Chingola. Turn right at the junction and proceed towards Chingola. After another 10 kilometers, watch for the sign directing you to Hippo Falls. Follow the road for an additional 5 kilometers, keeping an eye out for further directional signs. The falls will be located on your left, and there is a small parking area available.

From the Chimfunshi Wildlife Orphanage, you will need to take a local minibus or taxi to Chingola. Minibuses leave regularly from designated stops and will take about 30-40 minutes to reach Chingola, costing approximately 15 Zambian Kwacha.
