From Chimfunshi Wildlife Orphanage, head southeast on the main road (Chimfunshi Road) for approximately 30 kilometers. You will reach the junction with the Ndola-Kapiri Mposhi Road (A1). Turn left onto A1 and continue for about 15 kilometers. Look for signs directing you toward Ndola. As you approach the city, keep an eye out for the signs indicating 'Kantolomba.' Once you enter Kantolomba, navigate to the coordinates XJJG+9VG, which should bring you to the Virgin Mary Grotto. Ensure you have a map or GPS device handy, as some roads may not be well-marked.

To reach Virgin Mary Grotto via public transportation from Chimfunshi Wildlife Orphanage, first, take a local taxi or ride-share service to Ndola city center. This ride will take about 45 minutes. Once in Ndola, find a minibus or taxi heading to Kantolomba. The fare for the minibus should be around 10 Zambian Kwacha. Once you arrive in Kantolomba, ask locals for directions to the Virgin Mary Grotto, located at XJJG+9VG. It’s a short walk from the main road, but have small local currency for any additional transport or tips.
