If you are traveling by car within Kafue National Park, locate the B901 road. From the park entrance, head south on the B901. Continue for approximately 45 kilometers, keeping an eye out for the signs directing you towards Lower Zambezi. Once you reach the junction near the Zambezi River, follow the signs leading to Mukalya Private Game Reserve. The reserve is located about 10 kilometers off the main road, so you will need to drive carefully on the dirt road to reach the lodge.

To reach Mukalya Private Game Reserve via public transportation, start from Lusaka and take a bus to Kafue National Park. Once in Kafue, you can hire a local taxi or ask for a shared ride service to get you to the Mukalya Private Game Reserve. Ensure you confirm the fare beforehand and inform the driver of your specific destination. The journey may take around 2-3 hours depending on road conditions.
