Be prepared for some rough patches on the dirt road; a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. There is typically a small entrance fee (around 10 ZMW) to access the falls, which helps maintain the site.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Chishimba Falls via public transportation, take a minibus from Kalambo Falls to Mbala. Buses leave regularly throughout the day. Upon reaching Mbala, you will need to take a taxi to the Chishimba Falls entrance. The taxi ride will cost approximately 50 ZMW and takes about 30 minutes. Make sure to communicate with the taxi driver to take you directly to Chishimba Falls. Once you arrive at the entrance, there is usually a small fee (around 10 ZMW) to access the falls.
