From the center of Kasama, head northwest on Chibale Road towards the Kasama General Hospital. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the D18 road. Turn left onto D18 and follow the road for about 5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs indicating Mwela Rock Paintings along the way. As you approach the site, you'll notice a small path leading off the main road to the right. Take this path, and it will lead you directly to the Mwela Rock Paintings.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kasama. Start your journey by heading northwest on Chibale Road and then take a left onto D18. Cycle along this road for approximately 5 kilometers, enjoying the scenery. Look for signs that guide you towards Mwela Rock Paintings. When you see a small path to the right leading off the D18 road, take it to reach the paintings.
