From the main entrance of Kasanka National Park, head south on the main park road. Continue straight for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the junction with the road to Patama. Turn left at the junction and follow this road for about 5 kilometers. Bufumu Forest is located just off this road on your right, marked by a small sign indicating the entrance. Be aware that the road may have some potholes, so drive cautiously.

If using public transportation, you can take a minibus from the nearest town, which is Serenje. Once you arrive in Serenje, look for a minibus heading to Kasanka National Park. After reaching the park entrance, you can hire a local taxi or ask about arranged transport services to Bufumu Forest. The distance is approximately 20 kilometers, and the taxi fare should be negotiated in advance, typically costing around 500 Zambian Kwacha.
