Walking
Starting from the Kitwe City Centre, head east on Independence Avenue. Walk for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Chingola Road. Continue for approximately 1.5 kilometers, passing local shops and markets. Once you reach the traffic lights, turn left onto Nkana East Road. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers. As you approach Nkana East, keep an eye for Nkana Canyon's sign on your right. The canyon entrance is approximately 500 meters down this road.
Public Transport (Minibus)
From Kitwe City Centre, head to the main minibus station located near the central market. Look for a minibus heading towards Nkana East. The fare is roughly 5 Kwacha. Once on the minibus, notify the driver of your destination (Nkana Canyon). The journey will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you get off at Nkana East, walk approximately 500 meters to the canyon entrance, which will be on your right.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from Kitwe City Centre and head east on Independence Avenue. After about 1 kilometer, take the second exit at the roundabout onto Chingola Road. Continue cycling for about 1.5 kilometers and turn left onto Nkana East Road at the traffic lights. Follow this road for around 2 kilometers and look for the Nkana Canyon sign on your right. The entrance is about 500 meters from the main road.
