If you are driving, head towards the main entrance of Lusaka National Park. Once you enter the park, follow the main road which is well-marked. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Shantumbu Waterfalls. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes from the entrance. Park your vehicle at the designated parking area near the waterfalls. Please note that there may be a small entrance fee for the park, typically around ZMW 50 per vehicle.

Public Transportation
To reach Shantumbu Waterfalls via public transportation, take a minibus or taxi from Lusaka city center to Lusaka National Park. Inform the driver that you are heading to the park. Upon arrival at the park entrance, you may need to pay an entrance fee, usually around ZMW 20 per person. From the entrance, you can either walk or hire a local guide for a short walk to reach the waterfalls, as they are approximately a 20-30 minute trek from the entrance. It is advisable to negotiate the fare with the guide beforehand.

If you are already within Lusaka National Park, to reach Shantumbu Waterfalls on foot, start from the main park road and follow the signposts leading to the waterfalls. The walk will take about 30 minutes along a well-trodden path. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as the path can be uneven.
