Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in Woodlands, you can walk to Hungry Lion Woodlands Stadium located at Lewanika Park. Start by heading towards the main road, Woodlands Road. Walk straight until you reach the junction with the main highway. Continue walking until you see the entrance to Lewanika Park on your left. The stadium is located just inside the park premises. It should take approximately 15-20 minutes on foot, depending on your starting point.

• Bicycle

  For a quicker option, consider renting a bicycle. There are local shops around Woodlands that offer bicycle rentals. Once you have your bike, head towards Woodlands Road and proceed straight until you reach the main highway. Turn left onto the highway, and after a short distance, turn left at the entrance to Lewanika Park. The stadium is just inside the park. This journey usually takes about 10 minutes by bike.

  You can also use local minibus services to get close to Hungry Lion Woodlands Stadium. Look for a minibus heading towards the city center or to the nearest bus stop along Woodlands Road. Ask the conductor to drop you off at the nearest stop to Lewanika Park. From there, it is a short walk to the stadium entrance. The minibus fare typically costs around 5-10 Zambian Kwacha. Be prepared for potential waiting time depending on how busy the service is.
