Getting There

    If you're in the city center, start by heading towards Independence Avenue. Look for the large roundabout known as the Civic Centre Roundabout. From the roundabout, take Independence Avenue heading southeast. Continue walking along Independence Avenue for about 1 kilometer. You will see the Lusaka National Museum on your left, just after passing the junction with Kafue Road. The museum is easily recognizable by its signage.

    Locate the nearest minibus station, which is usually near the city center. Look for a minibus heading towards 'Town' or 'Civic Centre'. Board the minibus and inform the driver that you want to get off at the Lusaka National Museum. The fare will be minimal, usually around 5 to 10 Zambian Kwacha. Once you reach the area near the museum, disembark and walk a short distance along Independence Avenue. The museum will be on your left.
