Getting There

• Walking

  From the Central Business District (CBD) of Lusaka, head east on Cairo Road until you reach the intersection with Independence Avenue. Continue straight on Cairo Road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by several shops and local markets. As you approach the junction with Chachacha Road, look for signs directing you to Chaisa. Turn right onto Chachacha Road and walk for approximately 900 meters until you reach the main traffic circle. At the circle, take the second exit onto Chaisa Road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, and you will find Savannah Park on your left-hand side.

• Public Transport (Minibus)

  From the Central Business District (CBD) of Lusaka, locate a minibus station on Cairo Road. Board a minibus heading to Chaisa. The fare is generally affordable; make sure to have some Zambian Kwacha in cash. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the conductor to drop you at the Chaisa market. Once you get off at the market, walk straight for about 500 meters along Chaisa Road. Savannah Park will be on your right-hand side, and you will see the entrance clearly marked.

• Taxi (Ride-Hailing Service)

  If you prefer a more comfortable option, use a ride-hailing service like Uber or Bolt. Open the app and set your pickup location in the Central Business District (CBD). Input 'Savannah Park' as your destination. The typical fare will vary depending on the time of day and traffic conditions but expect it to take about 20-30 minutes. The driver will take you directly to the park entrance, which is easily identifiable.
