Walking
If you are in the Ndola city center, start at Ndola Central Market. Exit the market and head southeast on Independence Avenue. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto a road leading to Kantolomba. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will see signs directing you to the Virgin Mary Grotto. The grotto is located in a park-like area, so look for pathways leading into the greenery.
Public Transport (Minibus)
From Ndola Central Market, find a minibus heading towards Kantolomba. The fare is generally affordable. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at the stop for the Virgin Mary Grotto. After about 15 minutes, you will reach Kantolomba. Once you get off, walk north for about 500 meters, and you will find the Virgin Mary Grotto located in a park area. Look for signs or ask locals for assistance if needed.
Bicycle
If you are renting a bicycle, start at the Ndola Central Park. Ride west on President Avenue, then take a left onto Independence Avenue heading southeast. Continue straight for around 2 kilometers until you reach the Kantolomba area. Look out for signs for the Virgin Mary Grotto. The grotto is accessible via small paths within the park area that branches off the main road.
