Car
From the center of Bulawayo, head south on Fife Street towards 12th Avenue. Continue straight to merge onto the A7 road, which is also known as the Bulawayo-Maphisa Road. Drive for about 20 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Matopos National Park. There may be a park entrance fee (approximately $5 per vehicle). After entering the park, follow the signs for Magical Forest, which is located within the park. Keep an eye out for directional markers along the way.
Public Transportation
Take a shared taxi or minibus from the central bus station in Bulawayo towards Maphisa. The fare is typically around $2-$3. Inform the driver you need to get off at Matopos National Park. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you will need to pay the entrance fee (approximately $5). From there, you may need to arrange for a local taxi to take you to the Magical Forest area within the park, as public transportation does not go further inside.

If you prefer a direct route, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Bulawayo. Just provide the driver with the address 'RHJV+QRC, Matopos game park, Bulawayo'. The taxi ride will take around 30 minutes depending on traffic. Expect to pay approximately $20-$30 for this trip, plus the park entrance fee of about $5.
