Car
If you are driving to Mpopoma Park, start from the city center of Bulawayo. Head south on Main Street and continue onto Josiah Tongogara Street. Follow the road for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Mpopoma Road. Turn left onto Mpopoma Road, and continue straight for about 2 kilometers. You will find Mpopoma Park on your left. There is usually parking available near the park entrance.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, you can take a commuter taxi (kombis) from the city center. Head to the kombi terminal near the City Hall. Look for a kombi heading towards Mpopoma or Cowdray Park. The fare is typically around 1-2 USD. Once you are dropped off on Mpopoma Road, walk along the road for about 10-15 minutes. Mpopoma Park will be on your left side. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off near the park if you are uncertain.
Walking
If you are close to the park and prefer walking, Mpopoma Park is accessible on foot from many neighborhoods in the Mpopoma area. Simply navigate to Mpopoma Road and follow the signs leading to the park. Depending on your starting location, walking may take around 15-30 minutes. Ensure to stay on well-lit paths for safety.
