Car

If you are driving from the center of Bulawayo, start on Main Street heading east. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn left onto 9th Avenue. Continue for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Belmond Road. Turn right onto Belmond Road, and after about 1 kilometer, you will find Cerro de Yavego on your left at 12 Belmond Road. There is limited parking available near the sculpture.

Public Transportation - Minibus

From Bulawayo city center, head to the main minibus rank located on 4th Avenue. Look for a minibus heading towards Makokoba. The fare is typically around 1-2 Zimbabwean dollars. Once you board, inform the driver that you want to get off at Belmond Road. The journey should take about 20 minutes. After disembarking, walk approximately 500 meters down Belmond Road to reach Cerro de Yavego at 12 Belmond Road.

Taxi

For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from anywhere in Bulawayo. It is advisable to negotiate the fare before starting your journey. The cost will depend on your starting location but expect to pay around 10-15 Zimbabwean dollars from the city center. The taxi will take you directly to 12 Belmond Road, where Cerro de Yavego is located. This option is more comfortable and faster than public transport.
