Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from the city center of Bulawayo, head northwest on 8th Avenue towards Fife Street. Continue straight onto Luveve Road (A8) and follow it for approximately 5 km. Then, turn left onto Lobengula Street. Continue straight for about 2 km, then turn right onto a dirt road leading to Mountain View, which is located at VGF4+4F3, Lobengula Magwegwe. Ensure to drive carefully as the road may have potholes and uneven surfaces.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Mountain View via public transport, you can take a kombi (shared taxi) from the city center. Head to the kombi terminus located at the corner of 9th Avenue and Fife Street. Look for a kombi heading towards Magwegwe or Lobengula. The fare is usually around ZWL 100. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Lobengula Street. Once you disembark, walk approximately 1 km south on Lobengula Street, then look for a dirt road on your left that leads to Mountain View (VGF4+4F3).

  • Walking

    If you are nearby, you can walk to Mountain View. From Lobengula Street, head south and look for a dirt road leading to Mountain View. It is advisable to travel in groups for safety reasons. The walk is approximately 1 km from Lobengula Street.
