Follow the signs for Nyanga and continue on the road for another 30 kilometers. As you approach Nyanga National Park, look for signs directing you to Castle Beacon. The final stretch involves a dirt road, so be cautious as you navigate the last 5 kilometers. Ensure your vehicle has good clearance, as some areas may be bumpy. Parking is available at the trailhead.
Public Transportation
Take a public bus from Mutare to Nyanga, which leaves frequently from the Mutare bus terminal. The journey will take about 1 hour and costs approximately $2-$3. Upon arrival in Nyanga, you may need to hire a local taxi to reach Castle Beacon, as public transport may not go directly there. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around $10-$15 for the ride. Ensure to confirm with the taxi driver to take you to Castle Beacon, which is well-known among locals.
