Car
If you are driving from Mutare, take the A2 highway towards Honde Valley. After approximately 45 kilometers, turn off at the sign for Honde Valley. Continue on this road, following the signs. After about 20 kilometers, you will reach a fork; take the left road towards the Honde Valley. Continue until you reach a small clearing where you can park your car. From there, you may need to walk about 1 kilometer to reach the viewing area at Pungwe Gorge View.
Public Transportation
From Mutare, take a minibus to Honde Valley. The journey takes about 1.5 hours and costs approximately $5. Once you arrive at Honde Valley, you will need to hire a local taxi to take you to Pungwe Gorge View. This taxi ride will cost around $10 and takes about 30 minutes. Make sure to arrange for the taxi driver to return to pick you up after your visit.
Walking
If you are already in the Honde Valley area and prefer to walk, you can follow the path from the main road leading to Pungwe Gorge View. It is about a 1-2 hour hike depending on your fitness level. Ensure you have appropriate footwear and carry water, as the path can be steep and uneven.
