If you are driving from Hwange Main Camp, head southeast on the A8 road. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Dete Road. Turn left onto Dete Road and follow it for about 20 kilometers. You will see signs for the Baobab Tree. The GPS coordinates for the tree are approximately -18.3712212 latitude and 26.6524854 longitude. Make sure to have a reliable map or GPS device for precise navigation.
Public Transportation
From Hwange Main Camp, you can take a shared taxi or minibus heading towards Dete. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Baobab Tree. The journey should take around 30 minutes, and drop-offs may not be directly at the tree, so be prepared to walk a short distance.
