Walking
From the center of Hwange town, head southeast on Main Street towards the Hwange National Park entrance. Walk approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the park entrance. Once inside the park, follow the main road for about 10 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Gwango Heritage Resort, which is located at 8WCR+54M. The resort will be on your right side as you approach.
Bicycle
Starting from the Hwange town center, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Cycle southeast on Main Street for about 1.5 kilometers towards the Hwange National Park entrance. After passing through the entrance, continue on the main road for about 10 kilometers. Keep an eye out for directional signs to Gwango Heritage Resort, located at 8WCR+54M. The resort will be on your right side as you approach.
Public Transport
Board a local minibus or shared taxi from the main transport hub in Hwange town heading towards Dete. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Hwange National Park entrance. After approximately 15 minutes, you'll arrive at the entrance. Once there, you will need to walk about 10 kilometers along the main road inside the park to reach Gwango Heritage Resort, located at 8WCR+54M. Look for signs as you get closer to the resort.
