Getting There

Car
If you are driving, start from Harare, the capital city of Zimbabwe. Take the A1 highway towards Bindura. After approximately 90 kilometers, you will reach the town of Bindura. From Bindura, continue on the A1 for about 45 kilometers until you reach the turn-off to the A20 highway towards Centenary. Follow the A20 for about 50 kilometers until you reach the junction with the B61 road. Turn left onto the B61 and follow it for approximately 30 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Hippo Pools Wilderness Camp. The camp is located just off the B61 road, a few kilometers after the junction.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Harare to Bindura. Buses frequently depart from the Third Street bus terminus. Once in Bindura, you can catch a shared taxi to the A20 junction. From there, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a local transport service to take you to Hippo Pools Wilderness Camp, as public transport may not go directly to the camp. Ensure to negotiate the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
