Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Masvingo, head east on Robert Mugabe Way towards the intersection with Mambo Way. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer, passing local shops and cafes. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Mambo Way, and head south for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Great Zimbabwe Road. Turn left onto Great Zimbabwe Road and continue for another 1.5 kilometers. You will see the entrance to Great Zimbabwe University on your right.

  • Public Transport (Minibus)

    From the central bus terminal in Masvingo, look for a minibus heading towards Great Zimbabwe University or the nearby areas. Board the minibus and inform the conductor that you are going to Great Zimbabwe University. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive, get off at the university stop, which will be clearly marked. If you're unsure, ask the conductor for assistance.

  • Bicycle

    If you are renting a bicycle, start at the Masvingo City Center and head east on Robert Mugabe Way. Continue for about 1 kilometer to the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Mambo Way. Ride south for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Great Zimbabwe Road. Turn left onto Great Zimbabwe Road and cycle for about 1.5 kilometers. The university will be on your right. Be sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic regulations.
