If you are driving from Gwanda, take the A4 highway heading northeast towards Bulawayo. Continue for approximately 145 km until you reach the outskirts of Bulawayo. From there, take the A5 road towards Khami Ruins. The ruins are situated about 22 km from Bulawayo city center. Look for signs that indicate the Khami Ruins, and follow them to the entrance. Parking is available on-site for visitors.

From Bulawayo, you can take a local kombi (shared taxi) that operates regularly from the city center to Khami Ruins. Head to the kombi rank in Bulawayo and look for kombis headed towards 'Khami'.
